Stewart and Wendy had a clear concept in mind when they came to us for their new kitchen. They envisioned a seamless, open-plan space that embraced modern design with a touch of individuality. Their focus was on incorporating textured cabinetry with a metallic finish, bringing warmth and personality to the room without compromising the contemporary look they desired. Central to their vision was a large island that would serve as both a striking feature and a practical space, illuminated by statement pendant lights and enhanced by the flow of natural light. The ultimate goal was a kitchen that was minimalist yet impactful.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS

The cabinetry, featuring textured finishes in Ferro Oxide and Black Slate, introduces a sense of warmth and depth while staying true to the sleek, minimalist aesthetic Stewart and Wendy were after. The centrepiece of the kitchen is a large, handleless island topped with pristine Blanco Zeus Quartz, combining practicality with eye-catching design. Above the island, bold reflective pendant lights create a striking visual feature, while wood-effect flooring brings a touch of softness to balance the industrial elements. This carefully curated space effortlessly exudes style, perfectly capturing Stewart and Wendy’s vision for a kitchen that works beautifully for both everyday living and hosting guests.
