In their characterful period property, Simon and Helen sought to transform their ground floor with a kitchen that would strike the perfect balance between heritage appeal and modern functionality.

The couple envisioned a welcoming space centred around family living with a large island to accommodate family breakfasts, positioned to maximise views of their garden. They requested classic, soft colours in their kitchen which could be brought to life by the natural light streaming in through the windows.

Design Highlights

The design marries understated neutral units with a statement island in delicate sage, introducing colour without overwhelming the space. Above, vintage-style brass pendants cast a warm glow, drawing the eye to this central gathering point.

We selected light coloured worktops to maximise the sense of space, whilst the combination of a brass Quooker tap and bronze fittings infuses the kitchen with gentle warmth and sophistication. The thoughtful arrangement delivers both practicality and refinement, creating an enduring design that seamlessly blends into daily life.
